Electronic Invoicing in the context of GST refers to the digital invoicing process mandated by GST regulations. Just as a GST-registered business utilizes an e-way bill for the transportation of goods, certain specified GST-registered enterprises (mandatory for a 5 crore turnover business on or after 1st August 2023) are required to create e-invoices for Business-to-Business (B2B) transactions.
